Regular Activities

Movies at OC - Free Family Films
Every 1st and 3rd Thursday at 4:00 – Bring your own snacks (drinks with tops, please).

September 4, 4:00 P.M.:  Rated G, 90 min.
  The mischievous and accident prone Mr. Bean wins a trip to the French
Riviera and becomes ensnared in a European adventure full of pratfalls.
He manages to separate a father from his son, struggle with the language barrier, be accused of kidnapping, lose his passport and fall in love.  

September 18, 4:00 P.M.:  Rated G,  94 min.
   Based on Dick King-Smith's beloved children's novel, this is the story of an intelligent swine whose talents in sheep herding just might save him from the slaughterhouse.

Preschool Story Hour

Mondays - 10:30 a.m.
Two sessions on Tuesdays - 10:30 a.m. & 2:30 p.m.

Children should be 3 to 5 years old and able to attend the story hour on their own. Parents should be nearby in the library. No registration is required. Check the Children's Programs page for more information.

Adventure Club

Wednesdays, 4:00 p.m.

Adventure Club allows children the opportunity to develop their imaginations through book-related activities. Activities are designed for children ages 6 to 10. Younger children are welcome to participate but must be accompanied by an adult.

Lapsit

Call the Children's Department at 757-5314 to register or for more information about schedules. Class size is limited.

Lapsit is designed for children 18 to 36 months old and registration is required. Please contact the Ooltewah-Collegedale Branch or the Children's Department for more details.
