Anime @ the Library

On the first Saturday of most months, the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Bicentennial Library will feature free anime favorites. These are usually in the Downtown Library Auditorium at 2:30pm. The next event is:

Genealogy Classes

Beginning Genealogy Workshop

Designed specifically for beginners, this one-time introductory class covers the basics of genealogical research and the resources available at the library. Topics include gathering family information, using genealogical forms, accessing vital records, using indexes to locate census records, finding state, county, and local records, and locating military records. Instruction is given on using the library catalog, Ancestry Library Edition, and HeritageQuest Online; searching the obituary database; and using genealogical resources on the Internet.

Below are the dates and times for the scheduled classes. Enrollment in each class is limited to 20, and pre-registration is required. For additional information and to pre-register, call 423-757-5310 and ask for the branch where you will attend the class. A $3.00 fee is charged to cover the cost of the handouts.
