Eastern District of Virginia

Alexandria Office

The Alexandria, Virginia office of the United States Trustee administers bankruptcy cases filed in the Alexandria Division of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. The Alexandria Division consists of the following:

The cities of Alexandria, Fairfax, Falls Church, Manassas, and Manassas Park, and the counties of Arlington, Fairfax, Fauquier, Loudoun, Prince William and Stafford, and any other city or town geographically within the exterior boundaries of these counties.

Norfolk Office

The Norfolk, Virginia office of the United States Trustee administers bankruptcy cases filed in the Newport News and Norfolk Divisions of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern district of Virginia. These divisions consist of the following:

Newport News Division: The cities of Hampton, Newport News, Poquoson, and Williamsburg, and the counties of Gloucester, James City, Mathews, and York, and any other city or town geographically within the exterior boundaries of these counties.

Norfolk Division: The cities of Cape Charles, Chesapeake, Franklin, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, and Virginia Beach, and the counties of Accomack, Isle of Wight, Northampton, and Southampton, and any other county or town geographically within the exterior boundaries of these counties.

Richmond Office

The Richmond, Virginia office of the United States Trustee administers bankruptcy cases filed in the Richmond Division of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. The Richmond Division consists of the following:

The cities of Colonial Heights, Emporia, Fredericksburg, Hopewell, Richmond, and Peterburg, and the counties of Amelia, Brunswick, Caroline, Charles City, Chesterfield, Dinwiddie, Essex, Goochland, Greensville, Hanover, Henrico, King and Queen, King George, King William, Lancaster, Lunenburg, Mecklenburg, Edward, Prince George, Richmond, Spotsylvania, Surry, Sussex, and Westmoreland, and any other city or town geographically within the exterior boundaries of these counties.

Western District of Virginia

Roanoke Office

The Roanoke, Virginia office of the United States Trustee administers bankruptcy cases filed in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Virginia. The Western District consists of the following:

The counties of Albemarle, Alleghany, Amherst, Appomattox, Augusta, Bath, Bedford, Bland, Botetourt, Buchanan, Buckingham, Campbell, Carroll, Charlotte, Clarke, Craig, Culpeper, Cumberland, Dickson, Greene, Halifax, Henry, Highland, Lee, Louisa, Madison, Montgomery, Nelson, Orange, Page, Patrick, Pittsylvania, Pulaski, Rappahannock, Roanoke, Rockbridge, Rockingham, Russell, Scott, Shenandoah, Smyth, Tazewell, Warren, Washington, Wise, and Wythe, and any city or town geographically within the exterior boundaries of these counties.
