This is a preliminary list of exhibits for the 2006 USGS Open House in Menlo Park, California. We are expecting many more exhibits to be added as we approach the date of the Open House. Please check back often for updates. Most of these are hands-on, interactive exhibits suitable for all ages.

Building 2
There are no Open House exhibits located inside building 2, but the building's first floor is open for access to restrooms and the building 2 courtyard. Many scientific posters and images can be viewed in the hallways.

Meet at the base of the handicapped access ramp in front of the library in building 15. A 5-10 minute presentation on GPS basics will be followed by a USGS staff-led treasure hunt using GPS. A small number of GPS receivers will be provided, or bring your own!
