HOW TO PARTICIPATE

As noted in the program mission, Climate VISION, the President's voluntary program to reduce U.S. greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) intensity, works primarily with industry associations. We encourage the broadest possible participation in the program. The program assists industry efforts to accelerate the transition to best practices, energy technologies, and improved processes that are cost-effective, lower-carbon-emitting, more efficient, and more capable of capturing, removing, or sequestering GHGs.

If your company is interested in participating in the Climate VISION program, and if you want to know whether your association is participating in CV, you can view the list of participating associations.

If your association is participating in Climate VISION, you can get up-to-date information about the association's voluntary commitment, the association's work plan, assistance that the association and the federal government can provide to your firm, progress being made by association members in reducing GHG emission intensity, and association and federal government points of contact by clicking here.

If your association is not a Climate VISION partner and your company is interested in participating in the program, you may wish to encourage your association to become a partner. Contact the Climate VISION program to get more information about what Climate VISION offers and how your association can participate.

If your company is not a member of an association and wants to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions intensity...

  • Review the resources and links available to participating companies on the Climate VISION website. Many of these resources - including case studies, training courses, and more - are available to any company. We encourage your company to take advantage of Climate VISION resources that are generally available.
  • Contact EPA's Climate Leaders program. Climate Leaders is a voluntary industry-government partnership that encourages companies to develop long-term comprehensive climate change strategies and set GHG emissions reduction goals.

If you have further questions, contact the Climate VISION program.
