Naval Aviation History
The NHHC Archives (Operational Archives, Aviation Archives, and Ships Archives) is preparing for a major construction project to fix its records' storage environment in building 108 at the Washington Navy Yard. In addition, it is engaging in a parallel project to reduce a large processing backlog. Both are necessary to protect the collections we hold and greatly improve access to the valuable records in the collections. The archives will close for short periods of one to two weeks to allow staff to focus on implementing these two essential projects. We appreciate your cooperation and support in adjusting your information requests and research visits to allow us to focus on these critical projects. Upcoming closures are 28 Jan to 8 Feb 2013. |
