The NRO supports the Department of Defense Wounded Warrior Program. Wounded Warriors have the opportunity to work as interns at the NRO while they are recuperating at their medical facility. The internship schedule will work around their medical treatment schedules. It is a great way for our Wounded Warriors to continue to serve the nation and advance their careers while they are recuperating. The NRO sponsors annual career fairs to showcase internship opportunities for service members who are convalescing at military treatment facilities in the National Capital Region. During the career fair, participants have the opportunity to meet NRO senior leaders, learn about the missions of the various offices, and discuss internship opportunities.
