ARRA funding enabled Job Corps to develop four new advanced training programs within the Construction career pathway: Weatherization Technician and three Advanced Electrical programs, including: Smart Meter Technician, Overhead Line Construction, and Underground Residential Distribution.

Existing career technical training programs within the Construction career pathway also benefited from ARRA funding, as Job Corps allocated $4,229,684 for curriculum updates and the purchase of new equipment.
