Benefits

Pay and Allowances

Job Corps pays each student a living allowance twice a month while in the program. But just like a real job, taxes are deducted from this allowance.

Housing

We are capable of housing 325 female students on our campus. Each dormitory has bathroom and shower facilities, laundry facilities, TV rooms, lounges, and vending machines.

Meals

Our students are provided three nutritious meals each day at no cost in one of the best cafeteria facilities in Job Corps.

Wellness Center

The wellness center is open daily for basic medical, dental, and optometrist services which are provided free to our students. The wellness center also provides 24-hour emergency medical services. Weight management, smoking cessation, pregnancy prevention, and other health-related programs are also available.

Child Development Program

Our Child Development Program is designed to provide supportive childcare and pre-K services for non-resident students including counseling support to help them in their role as parents. The Child Development Program can accommodate up to 52 children between the ages of 16 months and five years. Children enrolled in this program are exposed to a variety of activities including projects, educational programs, outdoor play, and field trips.
