Childhood Immunizations

Recommended childhood vaccines are provided free of charge through the vaccines for Children (VFC) Program. Vaccines are given in our clinics by Registered Nurses who have extensive immunization experience and follow the guidelines as recommended by the Florida Department of Health and the Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention.

A Florida Immunization Certificate (DH680) is required for entry into Day Care and Schools in the State of Florida. Immunizations are required to be up to date for the child’s age for entry into Day Care. Immunizations are required to be completed or in the process of completion for children entering Kindergarten. A Tdap booster is required before entering 7th grade.

For further information on childhood vaccines and the required vaccines for Day Care, Kindergarten and 7th grade school entry, please call our Immunization Office at 321-634-6337 or visit the Florida Department of Health Immunization Section at http://www.floridahealth.gov/programs-and-services/immunization/index.html.

For information on immunizations visit http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/ and http://www.immunize.org/.

We partner with various groups and businesses to provide market price flu and pneumonia outreaches to their communities prior to the flu season. Please contact the Adult immunization Nurse at 321-634-6337 for more information.
