Florida Department of Health in Broward County
Broward County has experienced among the highest rates of new HIV and AIDS cases in the United States. Disproportionately impacted groups include Men Who Have Sex with Men (MSM) of all races and ethnicities and Women of Color. In response, The Florida Department of Health in Broward County conducts an extensive HIV/AIDS program which includes HIV/AIDS Surveillance, HIV/AIDS Prevention and HIV/AIDS Patient Care Components. Working collaboratively with our community partners to ensure that resources effectively target the communities most in need and that programs achieve their goals, the vision of the program is “Getting to Zero” new cases of HIV/AIDS.
