The Charleston Job Corps Center held its annual holiday student and staff luncheon on Monday, Dec. 14, 2015 in the cafeteria. Center management and staff served the meal with turkey and dressing, ribs, beef tips, chicken and trimmings with various desserts. Students will depart from the center for Christmas break on Dec.17.



Students of the Charleston Job Corps Center accompanied by Walter Dawkins, Recreation Supervisor, participated in the annual South Charleston WV Christmas Parade. Several Ghost Busters, Ninja Turtles and Star Wars characters were on hand to bring holiday cheer, along with floats, dance troupes, and local elected officials. Merry Christmas!

Five students from the Charleston Job Corps Center were selected to participate in the Long’s Chapel Restoration Project. Other students from Muhlenberg and Carl D. Perkins participated. The Charleston Job Corps Center (CJCC) operating under Horizons Youth Services (HYS) provided assistance to the Kanawha County Public Library (KCPL) on October 23, 2015 in honor of Make a Difference Day.
