Welcome to Employee Orientation for new and transferring NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC) employees. This site provides the essential information, forms, contacts, and checklists that you will need to begin working at the NSSC. Your orientation starts here and will continue with onsite in-processing, briefings, training and management receptions. Welcome to the NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC). The NSSC performs transactions and administrative activities in the areas of Human Resources, Information Technology, Procurement and Financial Management for NASA. As a member of the NSSC team, you are joining a diverse group of individuals that specialize in these functional areas for all of NASA.

Where We've Been
The NSSC began providing services in March 2006.  The adventure to open our doors has been exciting and challenging.

Between November 2001 and May 2003, a variety of studies were completed by the Consolidated Businesses Services Organization (CBSO) culminating in a CBSO report, which recommended implementation of a NASA shared services center.

In August 2002, an Implementation Team was appointed with the mission “To establish a consolidated shared services organization that will provide higher quality, more cost effective and efficient services for selected NASA business and technical services.”
