AMES PATHWAYS PROGRAMS Banner
The Pathways Program offers three types of opportunities to pursue a career in the federal government and at NASA:
Internship Employment Program (IEP): This program is for current students. It replaces the Student Career Experience Program (SCEP) and Student Temporary Employment Program (STEP). The Pathways Internship Program provides students in high schools, colleges, trade schools and other qualifying educational institutions with paid opportunities to work in agencies and explore careers in NASA while completing their education.
Eligibility Requirements
Eligibility Requirements (Internship Not-To-Exceed Appointment)
Recent Graduates Program (RGP): This program is for individuals who have recently graduated from qualifying educational institutions or programs and seek a dynamic, career development program with training and mentorship. To be eligible, applicants must apply within two years of receiving a college degree or certificate. Veterans who are unable to apply for Pathways Recent Graduate jobs due to active duty military service are eligible for two years after release or discharge from active duty, but no more than six years after completing degree requirements.
Presidential Management Fellows Program (PMF): This Program has been the Federal government's premier leadership development program for advanced degree candidates. This program is now for individuals who have received a qualifying advanced degree within the preceding two years.
