Welcome to the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) website for the Management of the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) contract competition.

ORISE focuses on scientific initiatives to develop the next generation of scientists, research health risks from occupational hazards, assess the efficacy of environmental cleanup, respond to radiation medical emergencies, and support national security. This effort will strengthen the nation’s research and development enterprise through education, research participation programs, scientific peer review, facilitating the protection of workers, the public and the environment through research, outreach and verification activities.
