The Washington State Combined Fund Drive (CFD) is the state of Washington’s public giving program. Alongside 16,000 current and retired public employees, we regularly donate funds to our favorite charities through our paychecks. This allows the CFD to streamline cash disbursements for the charities and reduce compassion fatigue for the workplace. In 2015 public employees gave over $5 million to some 2,900 registered non-profit organizations.
The staff at the Economic and Revenue Forecast Council give generously. We have been routinely honored for 100% participation for a small agency since 2011.
In 2015 Secretary of State Kim Wyman challenged organizations to increase participation and volunteered to "work" for agencies reaching high-levels of participation. Congratulations to team ERFC!
