Alliance for Education

The Alliance for Education is a partnership among business, labor, government, community, and education in San Bernardino County. The mission is to produce an educated and skilled community that provides a qualified workforce for the continued economic well-being and improved quality of life for all residents.

Countywide Vision

The Countywide Vision was adopted in 2011 by the County Board of Supervisors and the SANBAG Board of Directors following a series of community and stakeholder meetings and extensive research.  Intended as a roadmap to the future for the county as a whole, the Vision calls upon the county to capitalize on its diversity to create a broad range of opportunities that will lead to the realization of a “complete county”.  The Vision holds that the elements of that complete county – for example, education, public safety, jobs, recreation, and well-being – are interrelated and depend on all sectors working collaboratively toward shared goals. 

Two initial focuses have been identified that every part of our community has a stake in: The success of every child from cradle to career; and our county as a business-friendly region attractive to business development and growth.

Inland Empire Economic Partnership (IEEP)

The Inland Empire Economic Partnership is dedicated to bringing jobs, economic opportunities and a better quality of life to the residents of San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. IEEP looks at the bigger picture, focusing on improving the overall quality of life in the Inland Empire. By raising the standard of living; by improving education, transportation, health care and communication in the area; and by giving the region a unified voice across California, we are working hard to alleviate poverty, improve the everyday lives of our 4.3 million citizens, and make the area a more attractive place for businesses to move to and thrive.
