Health Plan Partnership

Vision: The Utah Health Plan Partnership will establish a healthier Utah by consistently providing reliable information and tools that help Utah citizens reach the common goal of improved overall health.

Mission:  To improve healthcare performance and measures by sending unified, focused, and consistent information to providers and communities

The Health Plan Partnership (HPP) is made up of representatives from different health plans that serve Utahns. We work together to improve the quality of healthcare. The HPP has been meeting since 1998. Over the years we have implemented several projects to improve use of clinical guidelines, and increase the number of diabetes care who receive regular eye and foot exams.

This year the HPP is focusing on improving hypertension care by encouraging members to see their healthcare provider regularly and take medications as prescribed. Contact Teresa Roark troark@utah.gov for more information.
