VIRGINIA RISK CONTROL INSTITUTE (VRCI)
Description:

VRCI is a series of college courses offered through Virginia Commonwealth University by the Department of the Treasury, Division of Risk Management and the Department of Human Resource Management, Office of Workers' Compensation. Two learning tracks of five cources each are offered by VRCI.

    The Risk Management Certificate track is for state and local government employees with risk management responsibilities seeking to learn more about the process of identifying, evaluating and dealing with risk.

    The Risk Control Certificate track consists of courses designed to assist state agencies to better control workplace accidents, injuries, and occupational health.

State agencies can order “FREE” Impairment Kits, Hot Work Permit Tags and other loss control tools on the XL Caitlin website.
