Focus Groups

The GWG consists of the following nine chartered focus groups made up of subject matter experts that address topical issues related to GEOINT standards:

  • National Imagery Transmission Format Standard (NITFS) Technical Board (NTB)
  • Motion Imagery Standards Board (MISB)
  • Community Sensor Model Working Group (CSMWG)
  • Application Schemas for Feature Encoding Focus Group (ASFE FG)
  • Geographic Portrayal Focus Group (PFG)
  • Metadata Focus Group (MFG)
  • Geospatial Web Services (GWS) Focus Group (GWS FG)
  • Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Focus Group (OFG)
  • World Geodetic System (WGS) and Geomatics Focus Group (WGSG FG)
