We will seek to lead by example in the use of the best methods for teaching, conducting research, collaborating, and coordinating use of research results. This will include maximum use of technologies which minimize the time and travel needed to do the above tasks -- such as asynchronous online discussions, video teleconferencing, and telecommuting. Our goal is that every work-day spent goes directly into product and results.
