Current Research Opportunities

The research topics for the program are defined by the sponsoring research laboratories at NASA Field Centers. Candidates for the program must compose an effective response to a posted research opportunity led by a specific academic advisor or mentor.  

That effective response, composed in a format defined by the mentor, is submitted by the candidate to ORISE along with a résumé, transcripts, and other application materials required by NASA.  Each application is reviewed by ORISE for eligibility and forwarded to the mentor for review.
