  More Information

This study is about how mothers and their 5-month old babies interact and play together, and how these interactions affect the child's development. There are many factors that affect mother-baby interactions, but a few include mother's moods, children's temperament, and family context. We will be assessing some of these factors to see how they affect children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. The first phase of the study will be conducted when your infant is 5-months old. The second phase will be conducted when your infant is 1-year old, and the third phase when your infant is 2 years old. Participation is voluntary at each time point.
