The Office of Reserve Affairs is a One Staff Directorate located in two locations, US Army Medical Command, Fort Sam Houston, Texas and Office of the Surgeon General, Falls Church, Virginia. Comprised within the Directorate are both Army Reserve and National Guard representatives with the expertise and knowledge to handle a myriad of Reserve Component issues. Additionally, this office maintains liaison between Office of the Chief of Army Reserve (OCAR), Army National Guard Bureau (ARNGB) and other agencies in order to facilitate Reserve Component concerns.
