About the Technical Assistance Exchange print

The Technical Assistance Exchange (TAE)

The U.S. Administration on Aging sponsors this Technical Assistance Exchange (TAE) to make information and resources available to states and community organizations that are designing, implementing or expanding Aging and Disability Resource Centers (ADRC) and other types of single entry point systems, to assist recipients of the Community Living Program (CLP) grants, Alzheimer's Disease Supportive Services (ADSSP) grants, and Veteran-Directed Home and Community Based Services Programs (VD-HCBS). The assistance provided supports program success and fosters a community of stakeholders involved in making changes to their long term care systems to exchange ideas, knowledge and best practices.

These slides provide a quick overview of some of the work of the ADRC TAE. They were created to be used in an orientation for project directors. Please contact your TA lead or NoWrongDoor@acl.hhs.gov if you are a project director interested in this orientation. The orientation reviews the TA available to grantees through The Lewin Group, the National Resource Center for Participant-Directed Services, and other TA partners. In addition, a tri-fold brochure describes the role of the Technical Assistance Exchange in assisting grantees with their work on Administration on Aging programs.
