Command Philosophy of Fleet Logistic Support Squadron Three Zero
VRC-30 is a command which must provide robust service
to the fleet in a safe and expeditious manner. The movement of high
priority cargo, mail and passengers to and from Pacific Fleet aircraft
carriers on time and with seamless transfer is our goal. Responsive
service to the fleet will be a good measure of our reputation, recognition,
operational excellence and will ultimately result in appropriate
resources. We can never lose sight of our customer’s needs.
Men and Women of VRC-30, represent what is best in America today. Selfless dedication to this great nation and to the Navy is extraordinary. VRC-30 must maintain and build upon the high standards of Officers, Chiefs, Sailors and Airmen who have served before us, for the good of our command and for those who will one day follow. Indeed it requires dedication to the principles of the Constitution of the United States of America, dedication to our families and the United States Navy. Personal excellence in the jobs we perform will be required. This means excellence in leadership, airmanship, craftsmanship coupled with compassion and fairness for the other people assigned to this command.
VRC-30’s primary focus remains to:
1. Provide detachments manned and ready to deploy in support of the joint combatant commanders.
2. Deliver high priority logistics support to local aircraft carriers.
3. Train pilots, aircrew and maintainers in order to deploy.
4. Conduct DV missions
5. Support Naval Special Warfare
In every task or mission we approach Operation Risk Management and safety must be present. It is much easier to do the job by the book the first time, than try and correct mistakes which often happen when shortcuts are attempted. |
