The Joint Munitions Command History Office exists to preserve and share the history of the command and its industrial installations. The office collects documents pertaining to almost every facet of the JMC including the ammunition plants, depots, staff and directorate offices. JMC history conducts oral history interviews with key and senior leadership to capture the thoughts and spoken word to provide a “live” perspective of operations and missions being conducted at JMC. JMC History writes organizational histories; prepares studies; answers public, private and internal inquiries on all ammunition subject matters; supports leadership; and advises the command group with decision-making.
