Applying for Orders

It's a great idea to visit the Career Management System - Interactive Detailing (CMS-ID) website to see which job requisitions (REQ's) are available in your rate in the next 9 months.  If you are 9 months from your Projected Rotation Date (PRD), there are many factors to consider when selecting your billet choices.  These include Sea/Shore Rotation, Location, Platform (Prowlers, Growlers, Helo's, Ships, Construction Battalions, etc.), Career enhancement (RTC, Recruiting, Overseas, out of rate, etc.), and family concerns, among others.  Even if you're not within 9 month of your PRD, you can better project future billets by frequently reviewing the REQ's for job types and locations.  Be sure to speak with your LPO or CCC if you have any questions...

Once you are within 9 months of your PRD, and you have decided on up to 5 billets for submission this cycle, inform the CCC.

Reenlisting

If you are SRB eligible, you must reenlist no more than 90 days prior to your EAOS, in the same fiscal year as your EAOS, for a minimum of 3 years beyond your current EAOS (including extensions).

If you are not SRB eligible, and within 1 year of your EAOS, you can generally reenlist for between 2 and 6 years, assuming you meet high year tenure and other considerations.    Make sure you touch base with your divisional CC or the CCC if you have any questions.

IMPORTANT: Your Reenlistment Request must be routed through the CCC at least 14 days prior to the requested reenlistment date or 35 days prior if you are SRB eligible.
