Product Data Reporting and Evaluation Program: Other PDREP Programs: Prime Contractor Partnership
Purpose: The Prime Contractor Partnership allows the Navy, Prime contractors and shipbuilders to share subcontractor performance data. The program supplements both government and industry information systems without requiring additional funding or resources. In addition to supporting acquisition reform initiatives, objectives of this partnership are to improve material quality, enhance the source selection process, develop working relationships and partnerships with prime contractors and shipbuilders, and assist with determining the need for additional quality assurance actions.
