JusticeCorps 10 year anniversary Banner

The award-winning California JusticeCorps program recruits, trains, and places over 270 undergraduates and recent Chief Justice poses with group after accepting the 2014 Education Pipeline Award on behalf of JusticeCorps graduates in court-based self-help centers.

2014 marked the 10 year anniversary of the California JusticeCorps Program and the 20th anniversary of AmeriCorps. 

Most recently, JusticeCorps was honored for its role in cultivating and educating a more diverse bench and bar by the California State Bar Council on Access and Fairness, with its 2014 Education Pipeline Award.

Recruitment for the 2016 program has ended. Applications for the 2017 program will be posted in December 2016.

Prospective Members

JusticeCorps offers 2 types of AmeriCorps member positions: Minimum-Time (300 hours of service) and Full-Time (1,700 hours of service).

JusticeCorps is a collaborative project of the Judicial Council of California; Bay Area, Los Angeles, and San Diego courts; 8 University of California, California State University campuses, and private colleges; and many community-based service providers.

Bay Area Region

The Bay Area JusticeCorps program is a 5-county partnership placing members in 6 self help centers.

 

Los Angeles Region

The Los Angeles program places members in 11 different self help centers around the county.

 

San Diego Region

The San Diego program places members in 10 different self help centers around the county.
