Course Title: Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) 200: Advanced TSP Topics

Course Description: This course is for agency benefits officers who are responsible for developing financial education plans and providing retirement financial education to their employees. It will help you answer frequently asked questions about the TSP, bust some of the common TSP myths and misconceptions, and provide empowering insights that will help your employees manage their accounts wisely. Students are encouraged to bring portable electronic devices to connect to our wireless internal network to access online resources and research questions from the FRTIB case files. Knowledge of the basic rules for TSP eligibility and participation are prerequisites for this course.

This course has been approved by the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education (AFCPE) to provide 12 CEUs for Accredited Financial Counselors (AFC®), Charter Housing Counselors (CHC®), and Accredited Credit Counselors (ACC).

Location: Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board (FRTIB)’s training center in Washington D.C.
