FAQs:
How do I access FDM?
Some users are reporting login problems. Please try these steps:
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Select Tools | Internet Options.
- Select the Content Tab and then click the Certificates button.
- Select the Intermediate Certification Authorities tab, Scroll down the list until you see DoD Root CA 2 in the "Issued To" column.
- Look in the Issued By column and if you see the word Interoperability, please highlight this cert and click remove.
- Close out of ALL Internet Explorer browser windows and open a new one. Go to https://www.fdm.army.mil.
If this still does not work you may also need to clear your browser history. To do this:
- Select Tools | Internet Options, from the top menu.
- Select the "Content tab"on top and then click the "Clear SSL State" button.
- Again, close out of ALL IE browsers windows, open a new one and click on LOG IN to FDM on the home page, https://www.fdm.army.mil.
See Logging in to FDM. If you cannot login to FDM or received an “Access Denied” message, try one or more of these actions:
- Try again to be sure you typed the correct information or entered your PIN or password correctly. (Your User Name and Password are usually your network login information. Army: use your AKO user name/password. You may have to reset it at AKO, https://www.us.army.mil, first).
- Contact the person who notified you to use FDM to be sure that person registered you (First time FDM users especially).
- Contact your local legal advisor or your Agency POC for assistance.
- Contact your Network Administrator or Help Desk for computer assistance.
Department of State Users ONLY.
- If you have forgotten or need to reset your password, please contact the Department of State IRM at 202-647-2000. (this phone number is for DoS password issues ONLY)
If you continue to experience issues contact the FDM Help Desk.
