The Dental Position Report (DPR)

The Dental Position Report (DPR) is the system that the IHS Division of Oral Health utilizes to track vacant positions for developing a portion of the Loan Repayment Program (LRP) priority list. Each service unit dental program should enter their dental position information from the 1st through the 15th of each month. Your monthly participation will not only help you obtain a more reflective loan repayment priority score, it also will be used to report vacancy rates and staffing rates to Congress. These reports will help shape decisions about IHS funding, recruitment, externship funding, HR policies, etc.
