The LASERS asset allocation was designed to achieve the required return objectives of the System, given certain risk considerations. Diversification of plan assets is pursued by LASERS with a long-term outlook, but is continuously monitored for significant changes in economic conditions, capital market environments, liability structure, funded status, and long-term investment prospects.
