METVIEW Main Menu Display
MetView's Main Menu allows the user to select the specific date and time of the meteorological data to be displayed. Pull-down menus allow the user to select the month and year. The day of the month is selected using a calendar and the time of day is adjusted using toggling the time forward or back in 15 minute increments. A push of a single button, "Most Recent", allows the user to update the display to the most recent data. Alternatively, the user can direct the model to automatically update the data as soon as new data are available.
Other buttons on the menu allow the user to focus the display on specific products, reconfigure the model to look for data in another directory, hide the main menu so that the screen is filled with the data display, and generate hard copies of display products.
