Secure Applications

Secure applications such as WebFile, business tax online filing and vehicle address change provide the opportunity to receive or create a password to access or submit personal information. You should not divulge your password to anyone. The Department of Revenue will never ask you for your password in an unsolicited telephone call or email. When you have finished with any password protected application, we recommend you exit the page.

Email

If during your visit to the Kansas Department of Revenue's website you send an email message, the message and email address may be retained by the server. This may be used to respond to you, to address issues you identify, to further improve our website, or to forward the email to another agency for appropriate action.

The confidentiality of Internet transactions is not guaranteed. We recommend against sending any personal information in an email.
