The Consortium is working with the federal motor carrier safety adminstration to identify technologies to reduce crashes in work zone areas on u.s. highways

With the increase in work zone incidents on the U.S. highways, FMCSA is looking to identify and employ current technolgoies to reduce the number of injuries and loss of life in work zones. The Commercial Motor Vehicle Roadside Technology Consortium (CMVRTC), consisting of the states of Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, Kentucky and Mississippi, will be participating in this endeavor.
