The NW/AFSC Library supports the Northwest Fisheries Science Center (NWFSC), the Alaska Fisheries Science Center (AFSC), and numerous field stations throughout the Pacific Northwest and Alaska. These centers and field stations serve NOAA's National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS). The library is physically located at and managed by the NWFSC facility in the Montlake neighborhood of Seattle, Washington.
