GYT Evaluation Toolkit

Does GYT work? How can you measure the effects of GYT?

We developed guidelines and surveys to help you evaluate the GYT campaign at your health center, clinic, campus, or organization.

Each survey can be paired with an Excel spreadsheet so you can automatically enter data without creating your own spreadsheet. To access this spreadsheet, please contact Melissa Habel at MHabel@cdc.gov.

If your organization is unable to conduct a survey, other potential ways that you can assess or evaluate the GYT campaign can be found in "Assessment Guidelines."

GYT was launched in April 2009 as an ongoing promotion under It's Your (Sex) Life, a longstanding public information partnership of MTV and the Kaiser Family Foundation. Supporting partners of GYT include: American College Health Association (ACHA), Kaiser Family Foundation, National Coalition of STD Directors (NCSD), MTV, and Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Technical consultation is provided by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
