We allocate water permits for stream water and groundwater; provide financing for water and wastewater projects; monitor, study, and write standards for the state’s lakes, streams, and groundwaters; oversee the state’s well driller and pump installer licensing program; coordinate the state’s floodplain management and dam safety programs; and provide comprehensive planning for the state’s water future.
