Guidelines for Proposal Submissions

Announcement:

Merit, Pilot (SPiRE), and CDA1 and CDA2 Career Development, Research Career Scientist (RCS), and Senior Research Career Scientist (SRCS) applications must be submitted via electronic submission through Grants.gov and eRA Commons; no other submissions (i.e. paper, CD, e-mail, etc) will be accepted. Funding announcements with specific instructions for electronic submission are available in the RFA and Program Announcements section of the ORD Intranet (copy and paste this link into your browser: http://vaww.research.va.gov/funding/rfa.cfm).

A Letter of Intent (LOI) is required each review cycle, including resubmissions and revisions for Merit, Pilot (SPiRE), and CDA1 and CDA2, and RCS and SRCS applications. LOIs are to be submitted electronically in a single PDF to rrdreviews@va.gov .



The submission dates in the Merit Review handbooks are under revision. In the interim, investigators should use the following schedule for all submissions to RR&D;, including Career Development & Research Career Scientist
