About NIDA
NIDA’s mission is to lead the nation in bringing the power of science to bear on drug abuse and addiction.
NIDA is committed to two main goals. The first is to support and conduct research on how drug abuse and addiction affect the brain, body, and behavior. The second is to use research results to improve the way we prevent and treat people with drug abuse and addiction.
