Each spring the United States House of Representatives sponsors an art competition for high school students.  The winning entry from New York’s 19th Congressional District will be displayed in the United States Capitol alongside artwork from every congressional district across the country.

 

Congressman John Hall will host an Awards Ceremony and Reception at The Lycian Center for Peforming Arts (located at 1351 Kings Hwy in Sugar Loaf, New York) on Monday, May 12, 2008 to honor all participants.  All high school students who reside in or attend school in the 19th Congressional District are encouraged to participate.
