  • Are the dates and number of people requested flexible?
The dates and number of attendees you give us are what we will submit. If there is a change in schedule or number attending there is no guaranteeing that the changes can be made.

  • Why do you need my cell phone and/or e-mail address?
We need a mobile number in case of an emergency; this will allow us to notify you of the change in plans. Also, if a tour becomes available we will need a way to update you (besides US Mail).

  • What should I do if I have a tour request for a group larger than 45 people?
Please contact us and we will assist you in making reservations.

  • Where is your office?
We are located in room 211 in the Cannon House Office Building. The Cannon Building is located at the corner of First Street and Independence, SE. The closest Metro stop is located one block south at the Capitol South exit on the Orange/Blue lines.

  • Where do I go for my tours upon arrival?
You will go directly to the building in which you will be touring. The only exception is the Capitol Building tours, for this tour please come directly to our office, which is 211 Cannon.

  • Where do I pick up my tickets?
There are no tickets for any of the tours. If you are booked on a tour, you will be added to a list that is kept at the tour site.

  • Why are the request timelines different for each tour?
Some tours are harder to get than others. Please note that the timeline is our suggestion, but does not guarantee admission to the tours. We encourage you to apply even earlier than is posted if possible.

  • How far in advance will I receive information about my tours?
You will hear back approximately two to four weeks prior to you departure date. We will send the confirmation letter via US Mail or by email.

  • To whom should I make the check payable to?
The check should be made payable to “Congressman Darrell Issa Office Supply Account”.

  • When will I receive the flag I ordered from Congressman Issa's office?
You should receive your flag approximately six weeks after the date that it was requested to be flown. We may arrange to expedite delivery of your flag if you are requesting it for use in a funeral service or another extraordinary circumstance. Please contact my Washington office for expedited service at (202) 225-3906.
