Creditor Information

Electronic Bankruptcy Noticing:

Electronic Bankruptcy Noticing, or EBN, refers to a group of electronic services available from the Bankruptcy Noticing Center that federal courts can use to send bankruptcy notices to attorneys, creditors, and trustees.

The Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maine offers two additional methods for recipients to receive notices: Internet e-mail and Fax. Internet e-mail noticing is intended for recipients who want the speed and convenience of receiving notices on-line. Fax noticing is intended for recipients who do not want to set up Internet e-mail accounts but who want to eliminate slower noticing by U.S. mail.

National Creditor Registration Service:

The National Creditor Registration Service (NCRS) is a free service provided by the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts to give creditors options to specify a preferred U.S. mail, e-mail address, or fax number to which bankruptcy notices should be sent.

Notice of Preferred Address:

To Notify the Clerk's Office of your preferred address pursuant to 11 U.S.C. §342(e) use the Notice of Preferred Address Form..
