Academics

In addition to career training, Angell Job Corps also provides academic training, including basic reading and math. Courses in independent living, employability skills, and social skills are offered in order to help students transition into the workplace. We also have several academic programs to help our students achieve their full potential.

GED/High School Diploma

One of our top goals at Angell Job Corps is to ensure that every qualified student obtains his or her GED/high school diploma prior to leaving the center. Students who don't already have a high school diploma upon their arrival at Angell can enroll in our GED and high school programs.

Driver's Education

Driver's Education is available to all students needing their driver's license. Permits and licensing fees for students are paid for by the center. Following successful completion of our Driver's Education program, students can earn their Oregon driver's licenses by passing the required state exams.
