Career Training

In addition to academic training, Angell Job Corps provides career technical training in several vocational trades.

Automotive: Maintenance and Light Repair
Bricklaying
Carpentry
Painting
Plumbing
Urban Forestry

Angell is the only center west of the Mississippi to offer Urban Forestry as a career technical training program. We are also the only center in the northwestern United States to offer career technical training in Plumbing.

Advanced Training and Apprenticeships

All the career technical training programs offer opportunities to continue training after mastering the basics at Angell's programs.

Our Automotive Technician program has an advanced program where certifications can be obtained. This advanced program is approved by the United Auto Workers (UAW).

Our Carpentry, Masonry, and Painting programs provide pre-apprenticeship training for direct entry into apprenticeships with several major trade unions.
