FLASHING AMBER LIGHT PERMIT INFORMATION

Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) 484.579 and (NRS) 484.582 allow the Division to issue Flashing Amber Light permits.

The Division must insure that the control and issuance of Flashing Amber Light permits is maintained within the parameter of the law.  Be sure to read the NRS to be sure you meet the criteria for a Flashing Amber Light permit.

You may only use your Flashing Amber Light permit as specified on your permit. 

Any illegal use of your flashing amber lights will result in the termination of your permit.

You must carry a copy of your Flashing Amber Light permit in your vehicle at all times.

Your Flashing Amber Light permit is valid from July 1st to June 30th of each year.
