Financial Aid Basics

  1. Create a FSA ID to access certain U.S. Department of Education websites. Your FSA ID is used to confirm your identity when accessing your financial aid information and electronically signing your federal student aid documents.
  2. Fill out the FAFSA to apply for financial aid & Oregon Opportunity Grant.
     Fill out after: Oct 1, each year
     Get help filling out the FAFSA
  3. Fill out the OSAC Scholarship Application to apply for OSAC scholarships.
     Deadline: March 1, each year
  4. Search for other grants and scholarships
