"Best Practices for Enterprise Software Agreements within DoD and the Corporate World” is a report commissioned by the Directorate of Information Technology Acquisition and Investment to identify best practices for enterprise software agreements.
The report is the result of interviews with a number of government and industry subject matter experts and identifies best practices that were found to be successful within Government and Industry in regard to purchasing Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) software at an enterprise level. The best practices identified in the report served as the basis for developing plans for the DoD Enterprise Software Initiative.
